A Homestay, your family away from home, is the perfect way to learn about South African culture and lifestyle. No other accommodation option can offer you these important benefits. South African host families are well known for their friendliness and hospitality; with them, you will be able to further practise and improve your language skills. The various options offer you independence combined with the loving care of a family.

Our families are situated in good residential areas, close to public transport.

Student House

The Student House is usually the choice of our younger, long-term students and volunteers. The private house in an upmarket, residential area with large communal areas, a garden and a swimming pool, provides affordable residential accommodation with 4 single and 4 twin rooms as well as 2 shared bathrooms and a kitchen for self-catering.

The centres of Claremont and Rondebosch, frequented by local students from the University of Cape Town, include shops, restaurants, bars, banks and anything else you might need within walking distance.

This residence is an upmarket house with a garden, a swimming pool and a veranda next door to our Newlands school and thus perfect for those not wanting to walk or travel to school by public transport. The house is beautifully decorated and has 5 single and 4 twin rooms with a total of 4 shared bathrooms, a large kitchen for self-catering and large communal areas. A shopping centre, restaurants, pubs, banks, bars and supermarkets are within walking distance.

There is a staff member who permanently stays at the property and is available for assistance when needed.

If you prefer to be independent, want to mix and socialise with other students, and love the hustle and bustle of city life, then this is the perfect spot for you. The City Centre Residence is located in a pedestrian area in the very heart of Cape Town, offering modern, functional and high-comfort accommodation for a low budget. Each mini apartment, with either a single or a twin room, is equipped with an en-suite bathroom and a kitchen for self-catering purposes.

Being right in the centre of the city, it is only a short walk to many tourist highlights as well as supermarkets, restaurants, banks, and a bus and train station.

Located in the centre of Cape Town, the Table Mountain Residence offers trendy and stylishly furnished studios, available as single or twin occupancy in a quiet setting. Each studio has an en-suite bathroom, a work desk, a flat-screen TV, air conditioning, a small bar fridge, and a tea and coffee station. It grants you independence but at the same time the opportunity to mix and socialise with other students. Guests have access to a large, fully equipped kitchen for self-catering purposes, and to a mini-gym.

This accommodation is within walking distance of various tourist highlights, as well as supermarkets, restaurants, banks and a bus and train station.
